Thursday, February 6th the Experimental Cinematography Centre organizes at the Cinema Trevi in Rome the tribute to the actor Arnoldo Foa, who died on January 11, titled The Voice and the Cinema: Arnoldo Foa film actor.
Actor of film, television and theater, multi-talented artist has also dedicated himself to painting, poetry and sculpture. It was his voice which, in 1945 , made the announcement of the end of the Second World War. We wanted to remember him not only with the screening of two films, at 17.00 Ettore Scola’s People of Rome (2003), and at 18.45 Vittorio Cottafavi’s The Hundred Knights (1964 ), but also with the presentation of a recently published book – at 21.00 – Alessandro Ticozzi’s “The Voice and the Cinema: Arnoldo Foa film actor” and with the documentary At least I Fo…à (2007) directed by Alan Bacchelli and Lorenzo Degl’Innocenti.
